Came back to this after trying out the DJ mixer on the front page, and this game definitely stands still as my favorite music based flash game.

My attempt at what may qualify as the somewhat 'mellow' side of punk. Slow build up, and it gets a bit...clusterfuckish in places, but not too bad, hopefully, and certainly not the random button entering of a lot of samples I see on here.

Actually, I did use dial up the first time I loaded this movie x.x It took 3 hours to load. I spent all that time playing minsweeper.

Then I did it again a week later to show my friends.

This flash rocks. It's a must watch for Newgrounds users.

Reminded me of games like Marble Madness and how much I fucking hated them. Graphics were good, though, and the gameplay is decent, if you like that sort of thing.

That was incredibly good. For a simple turrent defense, it had a back story, reason to keep going, even though there's no winning, etc. Also, when you were getting close to dying and the slow, sad music came on, I don't think i've ever more appreciated life. Messed up.

It's a funny song and all, but that wears off about the third time through. And dancing lions and tigers just aren't adorable enough to warrant an amazing score. Sorry.

Catchy, funny. Annoying after the second time, but I can't give you a lower score because i'm too stupid to mute while I type. so, 8, simply because I don't think I can rank it up there with some longer, more well thought out flashes in all good moral structure.

"Collabs"

I have the same problem with this video that I do with all collabs: 70 to 80 percent of it is well animated, everything else being drawn by an epileptic Michael J Fox. At the same time, most of it relates to the song in some way, but some of it just had the character lip-synching with a random event in the background (bloody eyeball tower brick wall girl clip, I's looking at joo) While most of the segments had a darker feel to go with the song, many were attempting humor. Humor is a good thing, but I don't think it had much place in this flash.

All in all, the good parts are great and everything else was shit. Not because it of poor animation or personal hatred, but because it didn't fit. It would be like throwing a minigame into a flash movie without warning or reason. It serves to break up the story and stop any sense of immersion you might have been having. This is a big enough problem to drop the score, but not by much. 7 out of 10.

We're going to rate this from a third person now, yeah? Through the eyes of someone not tainted with Johnny love.
Animation: Good, not spectacular, but, hey, it was a while ago, so, k, 2
Music: Most important part of the flash, as it's a music video, and, yep, there was music, so ok, 2
Entertainment: Ok, this is weird. It's not super entertaining, but I wasn't bored either. I was intrigued. So, will give you a 1...and a half.
Closeness to source material: You basically ripped everything straight from the comic. Well done. 2
And, finally, story: I know, it's a music video, there doesn't need to be a story, but it seemed like you were attempting one toward the beginning and then toward the end with heaven and hell. Everything in the middle jumbled up, so, you get a 1 for it.

All in all, this comes to a total of 8 and a half stars, without throwing in a personal love for Johnny. Well round that up to 9. Above average. Well done.

Of course, i'd pay money to see what Jhonen thinks of it.
